Christmas Tree

We took part as usual in the Christmas Tree Festival at the Methodist Church in Keswick.

This year, we all embroidered our choice of flowers on 3" embroidery rings, which made perfect frames. Each ring had a flower design on both sides.

Christmas seems a long time ago, now. We have braved the weather for one meeting so far . We brought our own projects, while Val spent the day teaching the basic stitches and techniques of crewelwork to some members.

In February, Kay Leech will be be sharing some new ideas and contemporary techniques with us.
